Festival of Speed invitation

23 Jun 2016

Natgraph's strong motorsport interests have been taken to a new level with an invitation for the company's Rick and Sandra Mann to take part in this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The couple will take their 4-wheel-drive space-framed Buggy to the famous event on 24-26 June, and appear in the 4x4 activity field, where they will be running the race car with Natgraph livery, in anger, and delivering plenty of noise, dust and action!

Natgraph's Technical Director, Rick, and Accounts Co-ordinator, Sandra, have been involved with off-road racing for over 20 years, with Rick designing, building and racing his own cars from scratch since 1985. The couple were UK All Wheel Drive Champions twice and also raced more recently in the French National Off-Road Championship where they had several top five finishes, including a second and a third overall out of 120 cars.

The car is a 4 wheel drive space framed Buggy powered by a self-built 360 BHP 3.4 Litre Jaguar V6 motor. Performance is brisk! It accelerates from 0-100 mph in about 9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 120 mph. It is designed to travel as fast as possible over rough terrain but still be able to handle well on tarmac and tracks at speed.

If you are going to Goodwood make sure you seek out Rick and Sandra and have a close look at the car.

If you can't make it here is some video action to see what you're missing! Race action outside the car and some high-octane in-car footage
